Our fastest answers to the most common EV-IQ issues.
Having trouble connecting to the app?
We recommend simply tapping your RFID card to the charger to start charging quickly and easily (Make sure your charging cable is properly attached to both the vehicle and charger).
The EV-IQ logo will turn from blue to green and it will enter its 10 minute randomised delay. Charging will then commence.Â
If the stop button on the side of your EV-IQ charger becomes stuck in and does not return to its normal position, do not try to force it back out, as this could damage the button or charger.
Please contact your installer or developer to report the issue. They can assess the charger and arrange any further support or remedial action required.
A flashing red light indicates that the charger has detected an issue. The flashing sequence can help our technical team identify the cause, so it’s important to capture it accurately.
Record a short video of the charger while the red light is flashing, making sure the full sequence is visible.
Then send the video to sales@gl-e.uk. A member of our technical team will review it and advise you on the appropriate next steps.
